Transamerica Life Bermuda appoints Mike Goodall as Chief Commercial Officer.
Transamerica Life (Bermuda) Ltd. (Transamerica Life Bermuda), one of Asia's leading High Net Worth life insurance providers, today announced the appointment of Mike Goodall as its regional Chief Commercial Officer.
Mr Goodall will be responsible for all Sales & Distribution, and Marketing functions across the company's branch offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. He will report to Marc Russell Lieberman, President and CEO of Transamerica Life Bermuda, and will be a member of the Transamerica Life Bermuda Management Team.
"As an industry veteran with 30 years under his belt in Asia and Australia, Mike brings a wealth of experience in bancassurance, distribution operations and strategic business development," said Mr Lieberman. His extensive knowledge and market expertise will be instrumental in our plans to strengthen our distribution network, widen our range of products and further enhance the support we provide to our valued customers and partners".
Prior to joining Transamerica Life Bermuda, Mr Goodall served as Head of Insurance at Citibank Australia, where he was responsible for managing Citibank's life, credit and P&C insurance business. He was previously Chief Distribution Officer at MetLife Australia, following his role as Regional Head of Bank Distribution in Asia. He has also held regional executive roles at Sun Life and Standard Chartered Bank.

Mr Goodall's appointment was effective from 3 April 2017.
