Transamerica Life Bermuda (TLB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristine Ung as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) per May 1, 2025, subject to regulatory approval.
Kristine Ung brings extensive experience from the high-net-worth (HNW) space, she also held senior roles at AIG, AIA, Chubb, and most recently serving as Managing Partner at Kismet Solutions. Kristine is not new to Aegon as a company, she worked for Transamerica (US) early in her career, was part of the team that obtained TLB’s license, and supported the recruitment of the Singapore management team of TLB.
Over her 25-year career in the insurance and financial services sectors, Kristine has consistently delivered strong results, including successfully leading business turnarounds, and driving significant growth in key financial performance metrics. She will focus on shaping the organization for long-term sustainable business and achieving our vision of becoming a top 3 global HNW life insurer.

And with the recent appointment of Adnan Ladki as Head of DIFC for TLB, we are well positioned to support our distribution partners in meeting the evolving life insurance needs of HNW individuals and families across the Middle East and beyond.
